Present revision petition is directed against the order passed by Appellate Authority whereby application filed by appellants-petitioners for depositing mesne profits was dismissed. While issuing notice of motion, this court had given liberty to the petitioners-tenants to deposit the arrears of mesne profits before the Appellate authority on or before 20.09.2017 without prejudice to rights of the landlord to raise his pleas before the court below. Admittedly, amount of `1.25 lacs was deposited before the court below. According to counsel for the respondent no. 1, petitioners are yet to deposit the balance amount. Learned counsel for the petitioners undertakes to do the needful at the earliest, in any case not later than two weeks. In view of above, no further adjudication of the matter is necessary. Appellate court shall, however, endeavor to conclude the proceedings at the earliest, in any case not later than two months. Disposed of.
