(ORAL) The petitioner herein seeks the relief of anticipatory bail in the criminal case pertaining to the FIR bearing No.131 dated 25.06.2020 registered at Police Station Ghuman in District Batala, under Section 420 IPC.

Learned State counsel, on the instructions from SI Baghel Singh of Police Station Ghuman, Police District Batala, District Gurdaspur, submits that in compliance of the order dated 17.02.2021 as passed by this Court, the petitioner had joined in the investigation of the case and his custodial interrogation is not required and that he is not NEETU RANI 2021.08.06 16:52 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document PHHC

involved in any other criminal case of similar nature and rather, Challan has already been presented in this case.

In view of the above-discussed submission of learned State counsel, the instant petition is allowed and the relief of interim bail, as extended to the petitioner vide the said order dated 17.02.2021, is made absolute.
