(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.40 dated 23.02.2018 (P-1), under Sections 451, 307, 148, 149 IPC and Sections 25/27 of the Arms Act, Police Station City Patti, District Tarn Taran and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise dated 04.01.2019 (P-3). Pursuant to order dated 24.01.2019 of this Court, the parties appeared before the trial Court on 28.02.2019 along with receipt of `15,000/- to get their statements recorded. Learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Patti has submitted his report vide letter bearing No.198 dated 02.03.2019 duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions SONIKA 2019.03.11 16:47 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh Judge, Tarn Taran, vide Endst. No.1356-R dated 02.03.2019.
CRM-M-3193 of 2019 --2-- According to the report, ld. Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Patti is satisfied that compromise arrived at between the parties is genuine and valid one.
Considering the report of ld. Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Patti dated 02.03.2019 and the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony in relations between the parties, aforesaid FIR No.40 dated 23.02.2018 along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, is quashed qua the petitioners only.
Disposed of accordingly.
