The petitioners through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India are seeking direction to respondent to finalize their seniority as R.T. Operators and to promote them as Head Constables.

Learned State counsel submits that petitioners No.1 and 2 have already retired on attaining the age of superannuation and petitioner No.3 was promoted. At present he is holding rank of ASI, thus, instant petition has rendered infructuous.
