637 Present writ petition has been filed for directing respondent No.1 to call for the record pertaining to Lambardari of village Panjour and to decide the same in a time bound manner and further to initiate the enquiry against arbitrary act and conduct of respondent No.3, who without any authority is calling for applications after the date fixed vide letter No.1070 dated 04.12.2023 as the same is wrong, illegal and arbitrary.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that formal process for the appointment of new lambardar was initiated and the cut off date for accepting the applications was 22.12.2023. He submits that despite there being a specific last date, respondent No.3 is accepting the applications beyond the cut off date without any sanction from the higher authorities.
