(ORAL) The instant Petition has been filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking Regular Bail on behalf of the Petitioner in case FIR No.382, dated 6th September, 2020, registered under Sections 148, 149, 307, 323, 341, 506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Section 25 of the Arms Act 1959 (later on Sections 324, 326, 364 of the IPC and Section 54 of the Arms Act have been added) at Police Station Kurukshetra University, District Kurukshetra.

The Petitioner was arrested on 8th October, 2020 and has remained in detention thereafter.

In the meantime, investigation against him has already been completed and Challan submitted.

Co-accused, namely Kartik has already been granted bail by this Court in CRR No.20 of 2021 on 18.01.2021. DEEPAK KUMAR 2021.02.19 14:23 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

In the given circumstances, further detention of the Petitioner for an indefinite period is not called for as he is no longer required in the interest of investigation. At this stage, therefore, the Petitioner is ordered to be released on bail to the satisfaction of the Ld. Trial Court/Duty Magistrate Concerned.
