The petitioners have approached this Court seeking grant of anticipatory bail in respect of a case registered against their vide FIR No.0076 dated 27.12.2021, Police Station Sector-19, Chandigarh under Sections 406, 420 and 120-B of Indian Penal Code. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the matter has now been amicably resolved amongst the parties and the petitoners have filed a petition in this Court seeking quashing of FIR on the basis of compromise wherein notice of motion was issued on 2.5.2022 directing the parties to get their statements recorded before the Illaqa Magistrate and that pursuant to said order dated 2.5.2022 passed in CRM-M-18316-2022, the statements of the parties MOHAN SINGH 2022.07.15 05:11 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

Learned State counsel, upon instructions from Inspector Satinder Kumar, has informed that pursuant to interim directions, the petitioners have joined investigation and are not required for custodial interrogation.

In view of the aforestated position, as per which the petitioners have already joined investigation and are not required for custodial interrogation and the matter is also stated to have been amicably resolved, the petition merits acceptance.
