ALKA SARIN, J. (ORAL) Learned counsel for the petitioner states that he does not wish to press the present revision petition. However, he prays that the rent petition which is pending since 2017 may be decided in a time-bound manner. In view of the above, the present revision petition is disposed off with a request to the Rent Controller to decide the rent petition, in accordance with law, within a period of six months from the date of passing of this order. It is made clear that not more than one effective opportunity be granted to both sides to lead their respective evidence on the newly framed issue i.e. "Whether there exists relationship of landlord and tenant between the petitioner and respondents ? OPP".
