Fulwinder Singh v. Joginder Singh
IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT
CHANDIGARH C.R. No. 6383 of 2015 Date of decision: 19.04.2017 Fulwinder Singh ....Petitioner(s)
Versus
Joginder Singh
...Respondent(s)
CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE G.S.SANDHAWALIA
Present:
Mr. S.K. Sandhir, Advocate, for the petitioner.
G.S.SANDHAWALIA, J. (Oral) Counsel submits that the brief has been taken away by the client and he has no instructions as such. The order assailed in the present revision petition is an order of provisional assessment passed way back on 16.04.2015. The landlord is aggrieved against the fixation of provisional rent at `500/- per month in contrast with the demand of `3,000/-. The trial would have progressed by now and the counsel is not in a position to inform whether the main eviction petition has been decided or not. Even otherwise, the revision petition would not be maintainable in view of the judgments of this Court in Taninder Tandon vs. Dr. Anjan Parkash Kaur, 2015 (1) RLR 191 and Ajay Partap Singh vs. Gurdial Singh and others, 2016 (2) RCR (Rent) 475.
In such circumstances, the present revision petition is dismissed for want of prosecution.
