*** JUSTICE JAISHREE THAKUR, J. (ORAL) This is a petition that has been filed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No.216 dated 11.12.2020 registered under Sections 498-A and 120-B of Indian Penal Code at Police Station Kalanaur, District Gurdaspur.

Learned counsel for the petitioner herein would contend that in fact, during the pendency of the present petition, the matter had been referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court and the mediation has been successful.

At this stage, learned counsel for the complainant admits to the factum of a compromise.
