The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents No. 1 and 2 to re-issue him passport.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that an FIR No. 03 dated 10.01.2019, under Sections 325, 323, 148, 149 of IPC was registered against the petitioner at Police Station Mamdot, District Ferozepur, however, police vide Rapat dated 26.07.2022 has found the petitioner innocent. Despite the said fact, the respondents have not issued passport. 3.
