Notice of motion to respondents No.1 to 3 only. Mr. V.G. Jauhar, Sr. DAG, Punjab, appearing on advance notice accepts the same and seeks time to have instructions. Put up on 10.2.2022.

In the meantime, the police official not below the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police, should record the statements of the petitioners.

In case a request is made by the petitioners, they may be provided shelter in safe house till the next date of hearing". The matter came up for hearing on 10.02.2022 on which date, none appeared on behalf of the petitioners.

Today, the learned counsel for the State submits that the petitioners have not approached the authorities concerned for protection and neither are they residing at the address mentioned in the petition. It appears that the petitioners do not face any threat to their lives. Hence, no further orders are called for. Disposed of.
