Petitioner - Satwinder Singh, has filed present writ petition, for seeking monthly pension under the Employees Provident Fund Pension Scheme, 1995, to which, he is entitled after attaining the age of 50 years. 2.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that there is a legal notice dated 14.08.2023 (Annexure P-6), wherein aforesaid relief has been claimed from the Regional Provident Fund Commissioner, Employee Provident Fund Organization, Chandigarh (respondent No.1 herein). 3.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that at this stage, he would be satisfied, if a direction is issued to respondent No.1 to decide the legal notice dated 14.08.2023 (P-6), in a time bound manner, as per law, keeping in view the provisions of the Employees Provident Fund Pension Scheme, 1995. 4.

Accordingly, respondent No.1 is directed to take final decision on the pending legal notice dated 14.08.2023 (P-6) in accordance with law, within a period of four months, from the date of receipt of certified copy of JAWALA RAM 2024.01.29 14:35 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. Needless to say that in case, petitioner is found entitled for the relief, as claimed in the legal notice dated 14.08.2023 (P-6), he would be extended the relief as prayed, at the earliest thereafter.
