(ORAL) This petition has been filed for quashing of DDR No.20, dated 12.09.2021, registered at Police Station Giddarbaha, District Sri Muktsar Sahib, under Sections 307, 324, 323, 148 & 149 IPC in FIR No.149, dated 11.09.2021, registered at Police Station Giddarbaha, District Sri Muktsar Sahib, under Sections 279, 337, 338 & 427 IPC on the basis of compromise dated 14.10.2021 (Annexure P-3). Pursuant to order dated 14.02.2023, report dated 27.03.2023 has been received from Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Gidderbaha, according to which, the statements of the parties have been recorded and the compromise is genuine and has been arrived at between them without any pressure, coercion or undue influence.

In view of the above, the petition is allowed and DDR No.20, dated 12.09.2021, registered at Police Station Giddarbaha, District Sri Muktsar Sahib, under Sections 307, 324, 323, 148 & 149 IPC in FIR No.149, dated 11.09.2021, registered at Police Station Giddarbaha, District Sri Muktsar Sahib, under Sections 279, 337, 338 & 427 IPC along with all consequential proceedings having arisen therefrom, is quashed qua the petitioners.
