Having heard learned counsel for the petitioners and while refraining from expressing any opinion as regards the averments made in the petition, the same is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar to look into the matter and to dispose of representation (Annexure P-2) expeditiously in accordance with law and to ascertain the alleged threat perception of the petitioners. In case, there is any genuine apprehension of threat to life and liberty of the petitioners, then requisite steps be taken at the earliest so as to ensure that no harm is caused to the petitioners.
