(ORAL) Petitioner has approached this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus, directing respondents No.1 to 3 to get release the detenue i.e. her daughter Komalpreet Kaur from the illegal custody of respondents No.4 to 6.

Mr. Parminder Singh and Mr. Nimish Gautam, Advocates, have entered appearance on behalf of respondents No.4 to 6 and filed power of attorney, which is taken on record.

In compliance of order dated 20.01.2025, report of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Mansa, who had been directed by this Court vide the above said order to interact with the alleged detenue and get her statement recorded, has been received and perused. 4.
As per the report received, detenue Komalpreet Kaur suffered a statement to the effect that she is happily married with Bunty son of Buta Singh and wishes to stay with him. PUNEET SACHDEVA 2025.02.03 16:15 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed in the instant petition as the alleged detenue does not wish to accompany the petitioner.
