**** SANJAY VASHISTH , J. (Oral) On 21.11.2022 and 24.01.2023, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner by noticing the said conduct, following order was passed on 24.01.2023:

"Prayer in the instant petition filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of directions to respondents No.1 to 5, to provide protection to the premises of the petitioner known as He-Man Restaurant, Karnal and to the management and staff of the petitioner.

Perusal of the file reveals that vide order dated 03.02.2021 notice of motion was issued for 16.03.2021.

Thereafter on two consecutive dates i.e. 28.06.2021 and 09.08.2021, there was a request for an adjournment. On 25.10.2021 during the time of COVID-19 pandemic, matter was taken up through video conferencing but on that day due to poor network connection, petitioner could not be connected. Thereafter, vide order dated 09.11.2022, matter was ordered to be put up before some other Bench.

On previous date of hearing i.e. 21.11.2022, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

As per office report, registry had informed counsel for the petitioner about the date fixed for today. Despite this, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

Reply dated 13.03.2021 filed on behalf of learned State counsel is already on record.

In the interest of justice, adjourned to 15.03.2023. However, it is made clear that if the petitioner is interested in pursuing with the petition, he may come present on the next date of hearing, failing which, petition would stand disposed of for nonprosecution."
