Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 528 of BNSS is for issuance of directions to the respondents to complete the investigation in DDR No.51 dated 24.09.2025 (Annexure P-2), filed under Sections 115(2), 118(1), 126(2), 351(2), 351(3), 190, 191(3) of BNS, at Police Station Mullanpur Garibdas, District SAS Nagar (Mohali) in case FIR No.166 dated 23.09.2025 (Annexure P-1), registered under Sections 115(2), 126(2), 351(2), 351(3), 190, 191(3), 296 of BNS, at Police Station Mullanpur Garibdas, District SAS Nagar (Mohali).

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Pavitar Pal Singh, submits that the State shall file the challan within a period of two months from today.

In view of the above, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the instant petition at this stage with liberty to file fresh one.
