On 2.2.2026, the following order was passed:

'CRM-4223-2026 Application herein is for impleading the complainant, namely, Taranjit Singh as party respondent No.2 to the main petition in hand. For the reasons stated in the application, same is allowed. Complainant, namely, Taranjit Singh, as mentioned in the application in hand, is ordered to be impleaded as party respondent No.2 to the main petition. Amended memo of parties is taken on record.

Registry is directed to place on record Amended Memo of parties at appropriate place.

Main case (O&M Inter alia contends that first petition for grant of anticipatory bail was dismissed as withdrawn on 07.08.2025, a compromise has since been effected between the parties, the injury attributed to the petitioner has been found to be given by a blunt weapon, & the petitioner is willing to

CRM-M No.3338 of 2026 (O & M) -2join investigation and cooperate therein. Learned counsel for respondent No.2 ratifies the aspect of the matter having been settled between the parties.

Put up on 25.02.202625.02.202625.02.202625.02.2026. The petitioner is directed to appear before the Investigating Officer on 06.02.202606.02.202606.02.202606.02.2026 at 11:00 A.M. in concerned Police Station and join investigation. In the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be released on interim bail subject to his furnishing personal/surety bond(s) to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer/Investigating Officer. As and when further called by Investigating Officer, the petitioner shall join the investigation. He shall abide by the condition(s) enumerated under Section 482(2) of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.' 2.

Learned State counsel (on instructions) submits that pursuant to the order dated 2.2.2026, the petitioner has joined investigation and is no longer required for custodial interrogation.

In view of the above, this Court is inclined to confirm the order dated 2.2.2026. Accordingly, the instant petition is allowed. The interim order dated 2.2.2026, passed by this Court is made absolute, subject to the conditions as enumerated under Section 482(2) of BNSS. 4.

This order should not be treated as "blanket" order. It will not be read granting petitioner indefinite protection from arrest. It shall be confined to the FIR mentioned ibid and will not operate in respect of any other incident that involves commission of an offence. 5.

Liberty is reserved in favour of State/complainant to move for cancellation/recall of this order in case the petitioner violates any condition stipulated under Section 482(2) of BNSS or upon showing any other sufficient cause.
