By way of this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. prayer is made to quash FIR No.284 dated 28.07.2019 registered at Police Station Zirakpur, District SAS Nagar, under Sections 353, 186 & 332 of IPC and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom. 2.
Though initially, the quashing was sought on merits, but during proceedings, compromise has been effected between the parties. Vide order dated 02.06.2023, compromise (Annexure P12) was taken on record. As per the direction issued by this Court, the parties appeared before the trial Court.

The trial Court sent its report bearing No.286 dated 30.06.2023, which after recording statements of both the parties, stated that compromise effected between the parties is genuine, valid, voluntary and without any coercion or undue influence.

In view of the above, no useful purpose would be served to continue with the proceedings before the trial Court in the instant F.I.R. VIVEK PAHWA 2023.07.28 18:22 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Following the principles laid down by the Full Bench judgment of this Court in Kulwinder Singh and others Versus State of Punjab and another 2007 (3) RCR (Criminal) 1052 and approved by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Gian Singh Versus State of Punjab and others (2012) 10 SCC 303, this petition is allowed and FIR No.284 dated 28.07.2019 registered at Police Station Zirakpur, District SAS Nagar, under Sections 353, 186 & 332 of IPC and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise dated 02.06.2023 (Annexure P-12), are quashed qua the petitioners.
