(ORAL) Petitioner herein, inter alia, seeks issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to consider his candidature for the post of Supervisor on contract basis through private contractor under outsourcing policy dated 06.04.2015, claiming applicability of order/Instructions dated 21.08.2020 (Annexure P-1). 2.

Petitioner holds a degree of B.Sc. (Agriculture) and pleads that some of the candidates, who are selected for the Post of Supervisor, are only Graduate in Arts.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that qua his aforesaid grievance, petitioner submitted a complaint before CM window. Pursuant thereto, vide a communication dated 29.01.202, it was conveyed that at the time of appointment, they contacted petitioner but his mobile phone number was not reachable. Given the large number of applications, there was no time to pause on one candidate and they moved on to the next candidate, keeping in view the principle of first come first serve. Petitioner then submitted a representation dated 15.12.2021 (Annexure P6), but to no avail. Hence, the instant petition. I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and gone through the case file.

5. No grounds to interfere are made out. Respondent No.5 is since a private entity, this Court ought not to exercise its extraordinary writ jurisdiction against it. Petitioner is/was at liberty to seek his other civil remedies available in ordinary course.

6. Dismissed.
