***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) It has been informed by learned counsel for the petitioner that all the PWs stand examined and that the matter is now fixed before the Trial Court for 2.3.2022 awaiting DNA report.

In view of the aforestated position, wherein the trial is virtually at its fag end, this Court does not deem appropriate to grant regular bail to the petitioner. The petition, as such, is dismissed. The Trial Court is, however, directed to take all necessary steps as may be possible under the present circumstances of spread of pandemic COVID-19 for expeditious disposal of the conclusion of trial preferably within a period of 4 months from today.
