% &'(  Having argued the matter at some length, learned counsel for the appellant submits that he be permitted to withdraw this appeal as the appellant does not wish to pursue the matter any further. However, as the Deputy Commissioner, Ferozepur had ordered his eviction under the provisions of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, he be only afforded four weeks' time to vacate the premises in question. Dismissed as withdrawn.

In the wake of the fact that the appellant, who has a family to support, shall have to look for an alternative accommodation, we consider it appropriate and reasonable to grant him four weeks' time to vacate the premises, provided he furnishes an undertaking by way of an affidavit before the Sub Divisional Magistrate, Zira, who is seisin of the execution proceedings within a week from today, that he shall vacate and handover the actual physical possession of the premises, free from all encumbrances within the stipulated period.

It is made clear that that in the event of any breach, proceedings under the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 shall be initiated against the appellant and appropriate orders shall follow.
