Through the instant writ petition, prayer is made for issuance of directions upon the respondents No.6 and 7 to provide police help for demarcation of Phirni, and, to thereby facilitate the object behind appointment of Duty Magistrate by the authority concerned. 2.
Consequent upon the petitioner's counsel, on the last date of hearing i.e. 24.01.2025, making submissions that despite making numerous requests for providing police help for the purpose of demarcation, no action was taken thereon by the respondent(s) concerned, therefore, this Court directed the learned State counsel to have instructions from the quarter concerned as to whether they are ready and willing to provide police assistance.

In deference to the directions (supra), today the learned State counsel has filed a reply, on affidavit of Manoj Kumar, HPS, Dy. Superintendent of Police, Gharaunda, Karnal, which is taken on record. It DEVINDER YADAV 2025.01.31 16:45 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment
CWP-1909-2025 has been voiced in this reply that, the respondents No.6 and 7 are ready to provide police assistance, as requested by the Naib Tehsildar-cum-Duty Magistrate, for the purpose of conducting demarcation. 4.
In view of the specific stand taken in the reply (supra), this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents No.6 and 7 to, as and when a fresh request is received from the authority/Duty Magistrate concerned, provide adequate police force for the purpose of ensuring demarcation being conducted without any hindrance. 5.
Disposed of accordingly.
