Notice of motion was issued on 28.1.2020 and a direction was issued to the parties to get their statements recorded before the Illaqa Magistrate/trial Court qua the factum of compromise. Report of learned Civil Judge (Junior Division), Sunam, Sangrur, has been received to the effect that statement of complainant Manjinder Singh had been recorded to the effect that the accused have failed MOHAN SINGH 2022.03.23 18:14 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

- 2 - CRM-M-3531-2020 (O&M) to make the settled payment of Rs.4 lakhs and that as such he does not consent for quashing of the FIR.

In view of the aforestated report, no ground for quashing of the FIR on the basis of compromise is made out. The petition, as such, is dismissed.
