(ORAL) Petitioner herein seeks issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari to quash the order dated 28.01.2022 (Annexure P-2) vide which respondent No.3 has been ordered to be posted as Incharge of Adampur Range, in place of the petitioner who claims himself to be a better and more eligible candidate. 2.

Learned Senior counsel submits that petitioner is a Forest Ranger and respondent No.3 is a Deputy Forest Ranger, which is a feeder post of Forest Ranger. He submits that petitioner, who is holding higher post is deprived of his rights and he has to work under Respondent No.3, who is holding lower post than him.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and gone through the case file.

No grounds are made out to interfere. It is prerogative of the employer to give temporary charge, as aforesaid, to an official it deems fit, until permanent candidate is found.

Dismissed, however, with liberty to the petitioner to pursue his cause with the competent authority. Respondents may treat the instant petition as his representation and pass appropriate administrative orders, in accordance with law.
