(ORAL) Through this petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case bearing FIR No.176 dated 29.12.2020, registered under Sections 379-B, 341, 506 IPC, at Police Station Lambran, District Jalandhar. Status report by way of an affidavit dated 16.04.2022 of the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub-Division Katrarpur, District Jalandhar, filed on behalf of the respondent-State, in the Registry, is taken on record.

Vide order dated 24.02.2021 passed by a Coordinate Bench of this Court, the petitioner had been granted ad interim pre-arrest bail and directed to join the investigation.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the aforesaid order, the petitioner has joined the investigation. Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Pappu Gill, submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is now not AMAN JAIN 2022.04.21 17:28 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document
