Pursuant to directions issued on 23.1.2020, a status report by way of affidavit of Sh. Ashok Kumar Sharma, IAS, District Magistrate-cum-Deputy Commissioner, Ambala has been filed wherein it has been deposed that a committee headed by SDM, Naraingarh and comprising of Senior Medical Officer, Naraingarh; Labour Inspector, Ambala; Inspector, Food & Supply Department and SHO Naraingarh inspected the premises of M/s Shiv Shankar Bricks Marka BBI village Badhauli, Tehsil Naraingarh, District Ambala and that no labourer was kept as bonded labourer in the brick-kiln. The said status report is accompanied by statements of alleged detenues GAURAV SOROT 2020.02.06 10:21 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

( 2 ) CRWP-837-2020 namely Kurshia, Furkhan, Reshma, Irfan, Mehranna, Rihan & Farshan which reads as follows:- "Stated in their joint statement that they came to M/s Shiv Shankar Bricks marka BBI village Badhauli in December 2019 as per their own will to work as pather. They have taken the amount for all the work they have done in this brick kiln. They do not want to work at this brick kiln due to their family reasons so they are going to their parental village along with their families and luggage safely. They are not bonded at this brick kiln. No violence and abusing took place against them by owner or any other at this brick kiln. The owner had provided the facilities of dewelling houses, drinking water, toilet, medical and electricity facilities. There is nothing due between owner and them. Complainant Mehboob had already gone to this village." 2.

There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. 3.

In view of the aforestated position wherein it has been found that nobody has been illegally detained in the premises in question, no further directions are required to be issued in this petition.
