Paramjit Singh v. Jasvir Kaur
IN THE HIGH COURT FOR THE STATES OF PUNJAB AND
HARYANA AT CHANDIGARH C.R. No.6568 of 2017 (O&M) Date of Decision.03.12.2019 Paramjit Singh
...Petitioner
Vs Jasvir Kaur
...Respondents
Present:
Mr. Rahul Rampal, Advocate for the petitioner.
CORAM:HON'BLE MS. JUSTICE JAISHREE THAKUR -.- JAISHREE THAKUR J. (ORAL) 1.
This matter has been pending consideration since the year 2017 and as on date, the matter has not been argued. 2.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner would contend that he had tried to contact the petitioner herein regarding the status of the property and whether he was still in possession of the same, however, despite all efforts made, he has not been able to do so. 3.
I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner. Considering the fact that the ejectment had been ordered in the year 2017 and the counsel for the petitioner is not in contact with his client, in all probability the premises stand vacated, therefore, the revision petition is dismissed for nonprosecution. However, while dismissing the revision petition, liberty is given to the petitioner to revive/recall this order within a period of three months, should the need so arise.
