TRIBHUVAN DAHIYA , J. (Oral) The petition has been filed inter alia seeking a direction to the University not to dispense with the petitioners' services and grant them minimum pay scale as per the guidelines dated 18.07.2018, issued by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

Learned counsel for the University contends that similarly situated persons who are working as part-time empanelled teachers in the Department of History, Culture and Archaeology, had filed a similar petition bearing no.CWP No.9176 of 2026 titled Sandeep Singh v. Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University and Another, which was disposed of vide order dated 07.04.2026, on a statement made on behalf of the University. On the same lines, he submits that the petitioners herein can also make a representation to the University and an appropriate POONAM 2026.04.22 09:49 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP-1657-2026 -2decision would be taken thereupon in accordance with law. 3.

In view thereof, the petition is disposed of, permitting the petitioners to make a composite representation raising their grievances which will be considered and decided by respondent No.3-Registrar of the University, by passing a speaking order in accordance with law within a period of three months of receiving the representation.
