(Oral) Petitioner has moved the instant petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction especially a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents No.2 and 3 to protect the lives and liberty of the petitioner and his family, which is in danger at the hands of respondents No.4 to 6 and their companions.

The counsel for the petitioner submitted that he will be satisfied if necessary direction is given to respondent No.2 to take action on the aforesaid representation.

State counsel submits that the concerned authority will look into the matter and take decision on the representation of the petitioners in accordance with law.

In the light of the above, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider and decide the representation (Annexure P-2) in accordance with law within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
