**** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI , J. (ORAL) After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner prays that as the meeting for issuance of the permits is fixed for 29.01.2020 and no permit has been issued so far, petitioner be allowed to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to file a fresh one on the same cause of action, in case any permit, which as per the petitioner, is issued contrary to the settled principle of law or in violation of the Motor Vehicles Act or any scheme.

Dismissed as withdrawn, with the liberty, as prayed for. However, petitioner will be at liberty to approach the appropriate authorities in case he feels that the action undertaken for the grant of permit, is without jurisdiction.
