This matter is being taken up for hearing through video conferencing due to the outbreak of pandemic, COVID-19. Prayer in this application, which is accompanied by an affidavit of the petitioner, is for withdrawal of CR-6828-2017. Advance copy of this application is stated to have been supplied to learned counsel for the nonapplicant/respondents. However, none has joined proceedings on behalf of the respondents despite the matter being called twice. This revision petition has been filed seeking stay of proceedings in Civil Suit No. 1414 of 2016 (Annexure P5) pending decision of CRA-466-DB2013. Learned counsel for the applicant/petitioner submits that the civil suit itself stands dismissed on 18.11.2021, therefore, present civil revision has been rendered infructuous.
