Main Case As agreed in terms of statements of learned counsel for the appellant, learned counsel and representative of the respondent-Insurance Company (separately recorded), a sum of Rs. 16,50,000/- (Sixteen Lakhs Fifty Thousand Only) over and above the amount awarded by the Tribunal is allowed to the appellant(s) in full and final settlement of the claim in this appeal. As per the statement of learned counsel for the appellant(s), the enhanced amount be paid to appellant(s).

517 FAO-386-2026 (O&M) The appeal is disposed of with a direction to the Insurance Company to deposit a crossed-cheque for Rs. 16,50,000/- (Sixteen Lakhs Fifty Thousand Only) in the name of appellant(s) with the office of the Lok Adalat of the High Court within six weeks from today, failing which, interest @ 9% per annum from the date of this order till payment shall follow on the said amount. The concerned Officer of the Lok Adalat Branch/Office shall issue proper receipt to learned counsel/representative of the Insurance Company after receiving the cheque. The Ld. counsel for the appellant(s) or appellant(s) may collect the cheque from the office of the Lok Adalat. All interim application/s also stand/s disposed of. Copy of the order be supplied/sent to the counsel/parties and file be returned to the Hon'ble High Court.
