Harnaresh Singh Gill, J Counsel for the petitioner submits that during pendency of the suit for specific performance, an application was moved by the defendant (respondent herein) for change of name of his father from Hazar Singh to Hazara Singh. The revenue record pertaining to actual name of defendant's father is already in the file of trial court as Ex.P5. It has been pressed that exparte proceedings are going on, in which, defendant has preferred not to step into witness box. Taking into consideration the facts of the case, this Court does not feel it necessary to issue notice to the respondent.
