The present petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for directing the official respondents to conduct a fair and prompt investigation in FIR No.14 dated 13.02.2019 registered under Sections 328, 376, 384, 494, 506, 511 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 at Police Station Women Ambala, District Ambala. 2.

Learned counsel for the State has pointed out that the cancellation report in the present case has since been accepted by the Illaqa Magistrate and in view thereof the present petition has been rendered infructuous.
