At the outset, learned State counsel submits that he has received instruction from SI Nirmal Singh, who has informed that he has recorded statements of the petitioners and there is no threat perception to them. Given above, since nothing survives in the petition, the same is disposed of.

However, still in case of any threat perception, the petitioners may approach the concerned Superintendent of Police/SHO for providing appropriate protection to the petitioners. After that, the concerned officers shall extend the protection on day-to-day analysis of the ground realities or upon the oral or written request of the petitioners. This order shall remain in force for two weeks from today. The petitioners are at liberty to approach this Court in case need arises.
