Faced with the fact mentioned in para Nos.5 and 6 of the preliminary submissions of the short reply dated 07.05.2021, the petitioner had obtained 167.50 marks in the competitive examination and thus, being lower in merit, his name did not find mention in the shortlisted candidates for interview, as the cutoff marks were 185, to which there was no counter filed, his learned counsel is unable to press the petition any further.
