Present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of directions to respondents No.1 to 4 to arrest the main accused in this case, who had caused injuries to the petitioner under Section 326 IPC. Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that despite registration of FIR bearing No. 136 dated 16.10.2017, under Sections 323, 324, 506 & 34 IPC (Section 326 IPC was added lateron) at Police Station Division No. 2, Pathankot, District Pathankot, main accused, namely Gurdial Singh alias Happy has not been arrested so far and no strenuous efforts have been made by the State to do so. Even representation dated 18.07.2018 (Annexure P6) made to respondent No.2-Director General of Police, Punjab has not been attended to till date.
