***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) The petitioner has approached this Court seeking grant of anticipatory bail in respect of a case registered vide FIR No.09 dated 10.1.2019 at Police Station City Hoshiarpur, District Hoshiarpur under Sections 406 and 498-A of Indian Penal Code.

The FIR was lodged at the instance of Suman Kalia i.e. motherin-law of the petitioner, wherein it has been alleged that complainant's daughter Rekha was married to the petitioner on 7.12.2015 and that a daughter was also born out of the wedlock but the petitioner and other members of his family used to torture and maltreat complainant's daughter for want of more dowry.

( 2 ) CRM-M-3634-2019 (O&M) Pursuant to interim directions issued by this Court, the petitioner has joined investigation and the parties have also been appearing before the Mediation and Conciliation Center, Hoshiarpur. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and without commenting anything on the merits of the case and while noticing that it is a case of matrimonial discord, the petition is accepted and the interim directions issued by this Court vide order dated 14.2.2019 are hereby made absolute subject to the condition that the petitioner shall join investigation as and when called upon to do so and cooperate with the Investigating Officer and shall also abide by the conditions as provided under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.

The parties shall keep on associating themselves with the Mediation and Conciliation proceedings, which are stated to be pending in Hoshiarpur.
