The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of necessary/appropriate directions for fair and impartial investigation, as the jail department is not taking any action on the application moved by the petitioner (Annexure P-1). 2.
Learned State counsel has placed on record the vernacular of the report from the DIG Jail Patiala Circle who has submitted that the allegations levelled by the grandfather of the accused are on the wrong information given by the accused, and in reality, it is the accused who is violating the discipline and rules of the jail and, when he was told not to do so by the jail authorities, he moved a complaint through his grandfather and has now approached the Court.
