(ORAL) The present petition has been filed for quashing of FIR No.318, dated 24.08.2016 (Annexure P-1), registered at Police Station Civil Line, Kaithal, Haryana, under Sections 406, 420 & 506 IPC on the basis of compromise (Annexure P-2).

Pursuant to order dated 02.02.2023, report dated 27.02.2023 has been received from Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kaithal, according to which, the statements of the parties have been recorded and the compromise is genuine and has been arrived at between them with their free will, without any threat or pressure.

In view of the above, the petition is allowed and FIR No.318, dated 24.08.2016 (Annexure P-1), registered at Police Station Civil Line, Kaithal, Haryana, under Sections 406, 420 & 506 IPC along with all consequential proceedings having arisen therefrom, is quashed qua the petitioner.
