The petitioner is a retired employee. She prays for issuance of the writ in the nature of certiorari/mandamus directing the respondents to release the gratuity amount and set aside the punishment order dated 25.03.2022.

After arguing for some time, the learned counsel representing the petitioner submits that the statutory review petition against the order of punishment is pending. Hence, he may be permitted to press the same. 3.

On the other hand, the learned State counsel has informed the Court that two disciplinary proceedings are pending against the petitioner which shall be concluded within a period of next two months, positively. 4.
