IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT

CHANDIGARH CR-7457-2016 (O&M) Date of decision: 11.01.2023 Malkiat Singh Urpurria

...Petitioner

Versus

Iqbal Singh

...Respondent

CORAM:

HON'BLE MR.JUSTICE H.S. MADAAN

H.S. MADAAN , J. (Oral) There has not been any representation on behalf of the petitioner for the last two successive dates of hearing. Learned counsel for the respondent states that as per his instructions, the possession of the shop in question has since been taken by the respondent on the basis of compromise, therefore, the revision petition has become infructuous.

Although, vide order dt. 11.12.2019, it was observed that this revision petition is to be heard along with CR-7428-2016, however, keeping in view the fact that nobody is appearing for the petitioner for the last two successive dates of hearing and in view of the statement made by counsel for the respondent, no useful purpose is going to be served by adjourning the revision petition further. Therefore, this petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
