Present petition has been filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for grant of pre-arrest bail to the petitioner in FIR No.96 dated 18.09.2022, registered under Section 22 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, registered at Police Station Kiratpur Sahib, Rupnagar, District Rupnagar.

After arguing for some time, when this Court was not inclined to accept the prayer, learned counsel, on instructions from the petitioner, wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to surrender; however, submits that regular bail of the petitioner be decided expeditiously. 3.

Disposed off accordingly.

Learned trial Court is requested that, in case, petitioner surrenders within one week, his application for regular bail be decided within next week, as per law.
