(ORAL) The petitioner herein seeks the relief of anticipatory bail in the criminal case pertaining to the FIR bearing No.350 dated 17.11.2019 registered at Police Station Dabwali, District Sirsa, under Sections 420, 120-B IPC and Section 61 of the Punjab Excise Act, 1914. Vide order dated 29.01.2020, as passed by the Co-ordinate Bench, the petitioner was extended the relief of interim bail with a direction to join in the investigation as and when called upon to do so and also to comply with the conditions as enumerated under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.

Today, learned State counsel, on the instructions from SI Devi Lal of Police Station Sadar Dabwali, District Sirsa, apprises the NEETU RANI 2021.09.07 18:21 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document PHHC

Court that though, the petitioner had joined in the investigation but he is not cooperating with the Investigating Agency and the recovery of original registration number plate of the vehicle involved in the crime is yet to be recovered from him and therefore, the custodial interrogation of the petitioner would be required.

Keeping in view the above-discussed submission as made by learned State counsel, this Court is of the considered opinion that the petitioner does not deserve the relief of anticipatory bail. Resultantly, the petition in hand stands dismissed accordingly. (MEENAKSHI I.
