Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of direction to respondents No.1 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from the hands of private respondents and not to allow the private respondents to interfere in her peaceful life.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for redressal of her grievances, the petitioner has already filed representation before respondent No.2 on 18.01.2025, however, no action has been taken on same. 3.
Notice of motion to respondents No.1 to 3-State only. 4.
On asking of the Court, Mr.Tarun Aggarwal, Sr.DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents/State. 5.
After hearing learned counsel for the parties and going through the facts of the case, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Tarn Taran, to decide the MEENU 2025.01.25 11:48 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

It is clarified that this order shall not be taken to grant immunity to the petitioner from legal action for violation of law, if any, committed by her.
