(ORAL) At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the instant petition while submitting that the petitioner would be moving an appropriate application to the Jail Authorities for seeking the concession of parole on the ground of the marriage of his daughter and he prays that the authorities concerned be directed to decide his (petitioner's) application within some specific time frame.
Ms. Ishneet Kaur, learned Assistant Advocate General, Punjab, who has joined the proceedings on behalf of all the respondents in this case in pursuance of the copies of the instant petition having been sent to the respondent-State in advance, has no objection to the above-discussed submission as well as the prayer as made by learned counsel for the petitioner.

having been withdrawn. However, in case the petitioner moves an appropriate application before the Jail Authorities by tomorrow for seeking parole on the afore-referred ground, then respondents No.3 to 5 shall decide the same by 10.02.2022 positively.
