HARINDER SINGH SIDHU, J Prayer is for grant of regular bail in case FIR No.0184 dated 06.12.2021 under Section 20 of NDPS Act registered at P.S Doraha, Police District Khanna, District Ludhiana.

As per allegations in the FIR, 21 kgs of Ganja was recovered from the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner limits his prayer to the extent that since FSL report is awaited, the petitioner be granted interim bail in the light of the order dated 30.05.2018 passed in Inderjit Singh @ Laddi vs. State of Punjab, 2014 (3) R.C.R. (Criminal) 953. Learned State counsel though has not disputed the factual position but opposed the prayer for bail.

Accordingly, in the light of the judgment passed in Inderjeet Singh @ Laddi's case (supra), prayer for grant of interim bail to the petitioner is accepted and the petitioner is ordered to be released on interim bail till the receipt of the report of FSL subject to his furnishing bail bonds/surety bonds to the satisfaction of the learned trial Court/Duty MANOJ KUMAR 2022.02.11 10:20 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M-5059 of 2022 #2# Magistrate concerned and subject to the condition that he is not required in any other case and besides this, he would surrender before the learned trial Court as and when the report of FSL is received. However, it will be open for the prosecution to apply for cancellation of bail, if the petitioner is found involved misusing the concession of bail, in any manner.
