SUVIR SEHGAL, J. (Oral) The Court has been convened through video conferencing due to Covid-19 pandemic.

Through the instant petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No.11 dated 23.01.2021 registered under Sections 420, 465, 467, 468, 471, 409 and 120-B of Indian Penal Code, 1860 at Police Station Sadar Kotkapura, District Faridkot.

While granting interim protection to the petitioner on 08.02.2021, this Court passed the following order:- "The matter has been taken up for hearing through video conferencing due to outbreak of COVID-19.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is no allegation against the petitioner for withdrawal of the amount from the bank account of the complainant. Moreover, it is SAVITA KADIAN 2021.08.25 17:40 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document High Court Chandigarh

CRM-M-5561 of 2021 {2} Jaswinder Singh, who has admitted withdrawal of such amount and has already furnished an affidavit, so as to return the amount to the complainant.

Notice of motion for 06.05.2021.

Meanwhile, in the event of arrest of the petitioner, he shall be released on ad interim bail to the satisfaction of the arresting officer. However, the petitioner shall join the investigation as and when directed by the investigating agency and shall abide by the terms and conditions laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.PC."

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Satpal Singh submits that the petitioner has joined investigation and is no longer required for custodial interrogation. He has further instructions to state that the petitioner is not involved in any other criminal case. In view of the above facts, but without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 08.02.2021 granting interim bail to the petitioner is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
